‘Trainspotting’ (1996)
Production Designer: Kave Quinn
(Harry Brown 2009; A Life Less Ordinary 1997)
Production Designer Kave Quinn was given a scrapbook of images compiled by Director Danny Boyle to give a feel for how he envisioned the film. Included were not only images from music and fashion, but also reproductions of Francis Bacon painting- which Quinn said ‘suggested a sort of in-between land- part reality, part fantasy- which seemed very Trainspotting.’
